Congrats!.

Yesterday afternoon my medicals passed and didn't get any emails from CIC. But just an hour before there is a Ghost email in my inbox.

This is not ghost msil. You always get the mail within 24 hrs of the update. This is update mail means it has to come after update.

Hi, as on 14/11 my status was "Background check in progress". But today it got changed to "Not needed at this time".
Did any one noticed this behavior ever & is it normal? Could anyone please let me know?

Hi,

Yesterday (15 Nov) my status was changed as follows:
Application/profile status : Open
Review of eligibility : Review in Progress
Review of medical results : Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview : Not needed at this time
A background check is needed : Not Started
Final decision : Not Started

And today (16 Nov) background check "Not started" got changed to "Not needed at this time" ???

As in previous posts I'm hoping its a positive sign and wondering something happening in my application .

I'm almost in same boat with you. In my case BG got changed from "Not Started" to "Not needed at this time" today.

I literally submitted my application yesterday and my med is already passed. I've got 'Not needed at this time' for my background check too.
