If 20% cross the 6 month mark soon, then IRCC essntially did exactly what they said they would do, which is finalize the majority, roughly 80%, of all EE applications within 6 months.

Agreed. If there's no PPR rain this week, then that number touches roughly 25% without a decision in 6 months (for Nov atleast). Just trying to make sure that Nov spreadsheet is updated so everyone is referring to correct numbers. We still do not know if there are people who have not updated their PPR statuses yet.

Hoping for an eventful week ahead.

Considering that our November group is such a small snapshot of the overall immigration picture through EE, it is quite amazing that the numbers so far seem to reflect the overall numbers quite well.

All in all, I would say that 75-80% of all applications being finalized in 6 months is a wonderful improvement over the old system and there is always the hope that they can maybe get it up to 90%+ in the future, once they have become more efficient.

There will always be some complicated or more detailed cases that require more time so if we could see that number go up to 90%+, i think that would be great.

At this rate they are not going to meet the 80% service rate. I can't even remember the last time there was a solid PPR rain... after March 18th, that is.

As for our app, the local VO here is to blame. They seem to be sleeping on our app since Dec 2015 when they received it. This habit of giving ZERO updates to a "paying customer" is extremely sh1tty and unprofessional!

Last big rain was on 5th May. I think they ll meet target of 80%. As per my understanding target is not to issue 80% PPRs but to finalize application. like some decision is taken on file or making it RFV. PPR can be sent later as per groups assigned to file.

I can be wrong also. but may be this is how it is...

^ Yeah, I agree with that. Just our luck we're in the 20%.

I've officially hit the 6th month mark, but maybe I'll wait a few more weeks before I reorder GCMS notes. I'll give them 2 more weeks to finalize my application before I throw a fit because I'm nice like that. ;D

Haha good you're able to stay positive and patient thru this wait.

i have already lost all my patience in 3 months. >:( >:( >:( >:(
wait is tough..

My biggest point of frustration is not even the wait exactly. It is the total lack of information from their side! After Nov 2015, there are zero updates in MyCIC. After Dec 2015, there are zero updates in GCMS. At least give us some update along the way to assure us that the application is progressing. This total silence makes it seem like our applications have been forgotten about completely and it has been half a year.

Count me in Mushikwala. After Nov 28 no updates. But i got a ghost mail last month and thats it. And they are not allowing EE applicants to login to ecas as well.

Hi everyone,

one more question. As CEC inland, I already have a Social Insurance Number (SIN). However, the Human Resources manager that keeps my files has warned me to communicate the NEW SIN as soon as I will be done with my PR. Has anyone already got their post-PR SIN, and if so, how long did it take after landing? The timing could be an issue as they need some time to modify and renew my job contract.

Thanks in advance for the input.

How soon after AOR was your first application cancelled? And what was the reason?

Congrats on your PPR!!!

After Landing walk into any Service Canada with the landing documents to get your new SIN in minutes.

So, what if you have been waiting since October 1st?!?!
:-X :-X
I have called CIC 3 times. Second time I called them, the agent told me that I should wait until September, otherwise they cannot provide me with any information about my application!
This is so disappointing!
Last time I called the, another agent told me September (one year after AOR) is the latest that they should approve/reject application. And the result can appear any time from now till September.
