Not too sure if you can update the new express entry profile number in the existing job bank account. You can give it a shot.
In my case I just made a new one with the new express entry profile. Hope that helps.

I think I remember people saying about a year ago that you need to create a new JB account for the new EE account, or it wouldn't work. Not sure if anything changed since then.

Guys I think I made a mistake !

I updated my new Express entry number and validation code in my existing job bank profile. It got updated and the message displayed on the job bank portal was " your new express entry profile has been successfully linked to your job match account" .

But now, I am trying to create a new job bank account and entering my new express entry profile number it is giving me an error saying " this express entry profile number is already in system"

Other alternative I am thinking about is withdrawing my express entry profile and creating a new one and then creating new job bank account using new credentials.

Any advise guys ?

If I remember correctly, I think it takes atleast 24 hours for MY CIC to show that you have successfully registered with the job bank and then your EE profile becomes live. However if that doesn't happen you can always make a new EE Profile and do the job bank registration on a new account.

Maybe some other people can chime in on this aswell.

I just got the second message in My CIC account saying congrats , you have been accepted into pool of candidates ,so I think the job bank registration worked !

But the status on my account is still pending :

Application/profile status Pending Additional Criteria
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Job Bank Registration Pending Help
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met Help
ITA Status Not Applicable

I think this will take some time to update ? usually 24 hours as everyone said above!

I would still wait 24 hours and if the profile status becomes active then you are good to go.

Crossed 6 months since AOR today :'( :'( :'(

Based on Nov spreadsheet it appears that roughly 33% Nov AORs are still waiting for a decision and roughly 17% of Nov AORs have crossed 6 months post AOR already without a decision. Is this true??

If 20% cross the 6 month mark soon, then IRCC essntially did exactly what they said they would do, which is finalize the majority, roughly 80%, of all EE applications within 6 months.
