So far no good news. This is not Express Entry, this is Depress Entry. They will make you wait for PPR and force you into depression and then may let you enter! >:( >:( >:( Frustrated

Guys relax!!
If you are depressed/ frustrated in 5 months. Just imagine the older system where it used to take around 2 years.

It is much faster system and the govt has to make sure that the person they are allowing in the country is not security threat. That is the most time consuming step in the process.
because of multiple international organization being involved.

SO i would recommend be +ve and stay put. Good news is around the corner.

Especially for Nov AOR's.. 80% has not been processed in 6 months duration, in our spreadsheet its down at 48% - isn't it. That's way low even if one considers many people are not registered worldwide on this forum.

This is happened because immigration officers have to work with 25000 Syrian refugees' files and give priority their files over normal and legitimate candidates who are already in Canada and paying tax to the government. This was a political decision from higher end of the government, Immigration officers are totally helpless on this occasion.

Then, how are they able to process Jan, Feb & March at full speed?? It is mainly Sep, Oct and Nov waiting and a large number of candidates in those months still waiting!

I totally support the express entry system as it has reduced waiting times considerably compared to the previous system. But that said, they need to have some process in place while working on applications. We’ve seen people get PR in one month whereas just yesterday I read about someone who is waiting for a decision since 12 months. Visa officers in my opinion can’t be blamed totally as they are probably instructed what to do, and the Syrian refugee thing which was more of a political game which the current government used as one of the tools to come into power, has definitely slowed down things. But again we see Jan, Feb, Mar inland and outland candidates getting PR, which doesn't make sense considering Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec 2015 applications are still pending. So no one one really understand the process, at times I doubt even if CIC has a clue!! :)

But again very happy for all the people that have got PR until this point of time, for the rest of us, let’s just be patient and we shall have it sooner or later.

Good luck guys and all the best!! :)

Raj lets not go thr. Lets keep the communication subtle.
And tell me as a human being what is important, rehabilitating the people/children who have treat of dying or focusing on fastening the process for people living comfortably in Canada.

Well, some people are not living comfortably in Canada. Permits are expiring, visas are expiring and many many other issues peope are struggling with. But, I agree with you in general. Blaming Syrian refugees does not solve any problem. On the other hand, I think Canada is done with refugees, right? We were hoping they speed up after finishing refugees paperwork and stuff!!

There has been no PPr for FSW inlander in January that I know of! It is unfortunate! :( I was hoping to see majority of Novemberian and Decemberians get PPR by the end of April, but nothing!
Lets see what next week brings to us! ::)

Thought i would see some PPR's today but its so silent..

I really don't think the same resources must be being used for the refugee influx. If that was the case, why are more recent months being processed faster? I'm not saying that we are not happy for Jan/Feb/March people. But them not clearing backlog from last year fast enough makes no sense whatsoever!

Express Entry hasn't really been faster. In the old 2014 system, one would expect to get PER in 3 months after application. In comparison, we are now waiting for almost 6 months... closer to 9 or 10 months if you include provincial nomination process for us PNP applicants.

HAHA..In the old system applicants expected PR in 3 months..I am not sure if you know but its takes 3 months just to receive AOR.

The complete processing time estimated by IRCC is 15 months..I applied under the old system in Dec 2015 and got my AOR in mid-March.

I did not say PR. I said PER. At least with a PER, you knew that your application was on the right track. You would then wait for Medical Request or whatever the next step was. Here with the EE system, they basically keep us completely in the dark for months on end. MyCIC is hardly updated and is a complete joke. Sure, some people are getting PPR in 3 or 4 months I agree. But there is no consistency at all across the board.

Whatever is going on in CIC offices doesn't matter to us, WE WANT OUR PPR!!!!! ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
CIC has to keep what they have already promised >>>> %80 of applicants should receive the PPR email in less than 6 monthsssssssssss. So shake your legssss/feet/arms/fingers officceeerrrrsssss!!! :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Plus, I applied in 2014 initially thru the old system. So I have a general idea how it used to work. My file got returned due to improper reference letter and I got to know about it after roughly 4 months. But at least I got to know something despite it being negative. :P
