could someone clarify if we get email notification alone for PPR ? or do we get an update on the CIC account as well ? i was not sure if it has gone to spam and i deleted it accidentally without checking

In my case, I got an email that there was a message in myCIC (PPR). Others have got an email message. So there is now fixed answer for this. I believe it differs VO to VO. Update your email client to stop sending mail from *@cic.gc.ca to spam.

There were a few occasions when the waiting times as well as major milestones along the way (like Meds and BG checks) were practically the same. I haven't observed enough of those to claim that it wasn't just a coincidence, but this could make sense. The lists of terrorists, spies, federals, sanctionees and other unwelcome individuals, as well as organizations and institutions and other info are probably stored in country-specific databases, so maybe they're putting the applications aside to look them up in one go.
That's 100% guesswork on my part, of course

I really hope this is the PR-harbinger kind of BG check, not the "I'll-be-stuck-like-this-forever" one.

Hello All,

Is there any one in this group who has an LMIA and applied for PR through Express entry. My friend application was submitted on November 2 and documents requested were upload on Nov 8 along with finger prints. Not has been updated since then. Is this the situation with any other people in the group.

Part of the December group but I'm a CEC inland with LMIA and there has been no movement on MyCIC since BG went back to 'not needed' at the beginning of January. Hoping for the golden email by end of April/beginning of May.

Im FSW Outland with a LMIA and i never heard from CIC after i got my medicals passed on 30th Nov. Background check not yet started.

Can anyone kindly tell me how to order GCMS note for my application. In April 15, my application will touch 5 months. My wife from my home country is accompanied with me in the application. I want to know the condition of both of us. I am FSW-Inland (Med is done within 1 week of submission, BG check once changed to processing , then came back not needed at this time almost 2 months ago). Nothing after that.

Advice please.
