Hi my background check also changed today to in progress. No ghost email.
My AOR is 18th Nov 2015 CEC inland
Hope it's a sign for ppr!

Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time Help
A background check is needed Not needed at this time Help
Final decision Not Started

No change since Dec .

If i get only my register marriage done in April ( traditional marriage will happen later ) , what all documents would i need to submit to include my wife's application along with mine ? And any tentative timelines for the process to complete once i include my wife application.

If i get my PPR , how much time would i have to submit the passport for stamping from the date of PPR ?

Is there any one in this group who has an LMIA and applied for PR through Express entry. My friend application was submitted on November 2 and documents requested were upload on Nov 8 along with finger prints. Not has been updated since then. Is this the situation with any other people in the group.

yes i applied under CEC with LMIA and i have a valid job offer. My AOR is 27th Nov 2015 and BG changed back to inprogress on Mar 17,2016.
No news after that
