You are not alone. I am in the remaining 20 % sadly... Passed 5th month still no change in Background check.

As per CIC report 80% of the applications are processed within 4.7 months (FSW).
Sad to be a part of remaining 20%.

I got Passport Req just now... When I login to my CIC account I see a change in BG status to "in progress" form "not needed..."

Wow.. feeling awesome .... after all these days....

congrates...so finally CEC inland for november started.

This is height of ignorance on my part, I had got email from CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC) on March 29 last Tuesday but did not noticed until today. I keep checking my CIC account BG showing "In progress" so was expecting it show "Completed" before receiving passport request in email.

Good News got Passport request although noticed a week later

PS: Guys whose BG check changes to "In progress" from "Not started" Keep a check on email.

Sch-1 : 13 Nov 2015
Sch-2 : 25th Nov 2015

On 08th Dec we were blessed by baby boy. Due to error in birth registration couldn't got birth certificate till mid of March 2016.

Request for child's birth certificate : 22nd March 2016
PPR : 5th April 2016
