I personally totally do agree with Jaiveer Singh.. From my point of view the inlander should get the priority. As an inlander i can say that we come here, pay more than 10-25 thousand dollar for study, then after finishing the study we fight with the Canadian to get a job in managerial position (anybody can say that how hard it is to get a managerial position job for a fresh graduate while the competitors are the white Canadian people also we have the language barrier.).. also we kept paying tax, CPP, EI since we have stepped in this country. We have already spent 3-4 years here, almost everybody who applied for PR. Most of them are almost settled here with job and everything here.. let alone about extending the permits to stay here.. from my personal experience i can say that me and my wife were not that lucky, we had to apply almost 11 times (combined, for me and my wife) to extend our work permit in these 4 years.. no one will ever understand who painful and stressful it is....i know that lots of applicants are in big trouble because of the work permit expiration...
It was your decision to spend 10-25 thousand dollar for study, it was your decision to stay after and fight with Canadians to find a job and settle here, it was again your decision to make good money in this country and it is your duty to pay taxes, CPP, EI etc to a country where you make money. It was your decision to stay here for 3-4 years.
But I 100% agree with you on how terrible the CIC is handling the work permit extensions, they really need to do something about it
On the other hand an outlander dont have any tie with this country as Jaiveer said.. They are staying their home country, they already have a very good job.. they dont have anything to loose..
Well not so easy for them too. You may think that they are staying in their home country so they have nothing to loose, but that can't be right always. If we were in their shoes, we'll probably understand their problems as well. Remember? It feels like grass is always greener on the other side
No offense to any outlander but in my opinion inlanders should get the priority.. CIC should do something to expedited the process for inlander not the outlander..
As far as I think, nobody should get any priority, CIC should just go about processing applications in the order they receive it, in that way no one gets left out and it gets more fair. I honestly wish some changes do happen, but we just have to wait for it
