guys is it of any use to order GCMS notes?

Average waiting time for GCMS notes is almost 25-30 days and someone, living in canada, can apply these on your behalf. But ideal time of ordering GCMS notes is atleast 3-4 months post AOR.

Got my new background check (with fingerprints) back from the RCMP today, so scanned it and uploaded it. Fingers crossed things keep moving along.

Is this needed for all the applicants? RCMP or only in certain apps?

It is not required by everyone. CIC will ask some applicants to get it done.

It means good news. Can't promise anything but it is unlikely to get a rejection after you get RPRF.

Good luck!

It looks like, you would be one of the speedy candidates here.

Very Urgent regarding Schedule A Background Declaration form

Hi all,

Today, I got a request for an additional document (Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form
(IMM 5669)
bearing an original signature. An updated Schedule A is required. Ensure Question 6 is complete and please leave no gaps.)

Also, my background check has changed to in-progress now.

It would be great if you guys can help me out to clear some of my following confusions.

1. I am applying along with my spouse. Do I need to submit declaration form for both applicant and spouse or just for the main applicant?

2. Does the form be handwritten (first print the form then fill up)? I am asking this because the form is pdf (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf) and it can be filled up online as well.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

I recently got the updates below from CIC

We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:

Please confirm your current country of residence and residential address. We require this information in order to triage your application to the correct processing office.

An updated Schedule A: Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature for yourself and spouse. Ensure that there are no unaccounted for time gaps for questions 8 and 12 since the age of 18.

Newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM 5406) for yourself and spouse.

I was based out of my home country at some point but I'm back now. Although review of eligibility still in progress and my background check is showing not started.

This is the 2nd time I will be filling IMM 5669, on the previous form, I started from "past 10 yrs" now they are asking for "since the age of 18". I have provided all details so fingers crossed. I don't know if by this stage POF would have been done, but I'm hopeful all is well.

I don't know if these last update is a sign I'm getting closer too.
