I got my ITA on Nov 13 draw with 1017 CRS and have a question.

I recently resigned from my current job with my last date of working on December 27, 2015. I will be submitting my PR application before December 27, 2015. Having resigned, shall I inform CIC that I have resigned and left the company after Dec 27 or not ?

Please help

Yes. You should let cic know. Get the letter saying that from your employer.

If you had ita under pnp from this job., you might have a problem.

I still hold this job till November 27, 2015 and I didnt get PNP from this job.

Shall I still notify CIC about my resignation.

I got my nomination on November 6, 2015.

Attach a letter of explanation when you submit your application.

Hi Mcadam,

Do you think the worst case/average timeline it shares can be true?

Does CIC set a deadline for sending the Passport once they request for Passport? In my case, I might not be able to send my passport for the next 6 months as my new employer will keep it.

Thanks
Alifur

Yeah it's true, at least from reading what others said about it on the thread.

Sorry I don't know if they do set a deadline. You'd have to figure out a way to get your passport from your employer...

When shall we do medical after receiving ITA? Do we need to upload medical while filing online PR application?
1. Does CIC notify us to do medical or,
2. We visit the panel physician and do upfront medical?

I am really confused. Please help

Got an updated status email today..
Medical and background check are in progress

You must submit Proof of Medical upfront with your eAPR, so yeah, immediately after receiving ITA is the best time to do your medicals...

I got a ghost email...

No change ...

That's strange, what did the ghost e-mail say?

Your Application has been updated. Please sign in to your My CIC Account and check your application status and messages for more information.

I have the same situation. Got a ghost email just an hour back but no change in myCIC account. Although in ECAS, I found a new line--- Medical results have been received. This is really confusing because I got my Medical status passed on November 10 and today ECAS says they received my medical results. Does anyone have similar case as mine?

Those ghost emails, from my understanding, are for the updates which were made to your profile after you all submitted your application. They only arrived late, that's all.

How would I know that I had an ECAS access?

I see some people talking about 1/2/3/4 lines... what does this mean?

I've been trying to access this service for since Nov, 12 (AOR). I enter all the fields correctly, but I "can't be identified". Should I wait?
