Hello fellow Novemberites,

Got my request for RPRF today.

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.
Before we can approve your application, we require payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if applicable.

Medicals-Passed (Nov 24th)
PCC Request-Dec 9th. Document Submitted on Jan 15th
Ghost Message on updation-Feb 17th
RFRF Request-Feb 18th
Background check-In Progress

Now waiting for PPR. Hopefully should receive soon. I am guessing a month?

Hi Friends,

I am worried about the time lines in my case. I have got invited to apply via FSW Inland.

I have got ITA on Sep 8.
AOR Nov 1st
Medicals Passed - Nov 5th
Request for additional documents (submitted on same day)- Nov 9th.
Background check in progress - Nov 9


I haven't heard anything from that day. Its been more than 100 days and heard nothing from CIC. Any one with similar case ?

Guys I want to share some thoughts with you. I have received my GCMS notes and investigated something. My AOR was on 19 nov, they started processing my application on dec 02. Same day they started reviewing eligibility, criminality, meds and something called "other reqs". Meds and other reqs completed right away, eligibility updated to "not started" and criminality is in progress. Security updated on dec 06 and states "not started". Criminality updated on dec 15 and shows completed. So far from dec 15 no updates, eligibility and security shows "not started". It means my application is still in CIO, but I see some update on jan 13. It states the following:

APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Assigned to: RC-9515
Assigned by: GJ01140
Due date: 2016/01/13

So far I found out that RC-9515 is ottawa office (or officer). Does that mean my file has been transferred to Ottawa already? it doesn't make sense as I thought they send application from CIO to secondary offices only after background check is done.

I got my GCMS notes and the application assignment looks exactly the same, same Assigned To and Same Assigned By just Due date is different. Security shows Not Started rest is Passed.
