Hi All,

Does anyone knows what "Due Date" on GCMS notes means?
I requested my notes on 29 Feb and on the second page it says

Application Assignment
Assigned to:RC-9515
Assigned by: SL01141
Due Date: 2016/03/24

It's almost a month since the due date has passed and I haven't received any updates so far.
According to GCMS notes "eligibility :Met" but in mycic Review of eligibility is still shown as 'Review in progress'. Any idea what could be the reason for this?

It is supposed to be the bring forward date: Next date the file is to be reviewed. But, from what I have seen in EE, this date does not mean much. CIC seems to be working chronologically, with some randomness, perhaps caused by complexity of the application.

No buddy... It helps ... It forces an agent to open your file and have a look. As a result, it promotes him to take some action which gives some movement in file.

Why did you get a ECA done when you have Canadian Degree, assuming this your highest degree received?

IMO there is nothing to worry here, you are in the security check stage and everything else passed, thats a good sign.

I have called CIC today and a nice lady let me check on the status of my application even though it hasn't hit the 6 month mark yet.. (almost though)

My AOR is Nov 9
FSW inland

I got RPRF last Friday (Apr 15 and paid same day) and she said that there has been no other status updates other than that.
Does anybody know how long it typically takes them to make a decision after the RPRF?
my anxiety is at it's all time high..

I applied in 2014 in the old system only for them to return my application in 2015 to apply though EE..
been through a lot after that and my work permit expired and I couldn't get an extension so I've been staying here as a visitor status for almost 5 months now..

running out of patience.. if anyone can give me an insight on how long does PPR take after RPRF, that would be great.
