Finally after 5.5 months i got my RPRF request today

It's just around the corner.. I can feel it it would have been my PPR if i paid upfront i guess..

Couple of questions: Did you apply from USA? Were you asked to submit PR to Ottawa or some other VO?

Yes I was living in the US when I started my application, so had to apply from there.
I was initially asked to submit to Ottawa, but I have sent them a request to allow me to send to any VO in India, since I am living here now.

I was wondering about that too, since I had submitted my application in November and expected them to ask by February or so, but in a way it was good I believe it was because of the LOE (Letter of explanation) that I had sent to them when filing my application and most likely they are aware of the delay in the PCC as well, so might have asked in the final stages. (Ofcourse, I had to expect it at some point before finalization of case )

Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Background Check Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Last update was in December 2015 when my BG went from not started to not needed at this time.

I haven't received anything in 2016, any comments? Thanks in advance.

What can I expect in the days to come? Is there any surety regarding PPR from now or the wait still continues??

Got PPR today. A word of advice to everyone: order your GCMS noyes (work for inland applicants only), that really helps.
