rest ask legalFalcon, he might add something more to it
Hi everyone, my first post in the forum. Thank you all for sharing so many precious info!
My status: inland CEC.
I have a similar issue to savioceg. I received the AOR on November 16th, so I might be close to get the PPR. However, I have a trip to Switzerland scheduled at the end of April that will take me abroad for 9 days. I checked the datasheet, and the process of sending the passport and receiving the CoPR requires approx. 2 weeks.
So my question is: how many days are available to send the passport after receiving PPR? I will not be able send my passport (i.e. travel document) for at least 3 weeks starting from today, and I cannot cancel my trip.
Also: I am from Italy and I don't need a visa to visit Canada, I have read somewhere that I don't need to send the passport as a scan would be enough. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks for the advice
