Yes! there have been some cases. However, because it's the background check, the time varies between cases depending on their circumstances.

I actually thought medical reassessment, in other words what we call an extension, is possible when the final decision is pending only because the medicals have expired or are just about to expire.

That's what I came up with when I googled medical reassessment. Seems I misinterpreted it.

Guys, is there anyone among us whose medicals expired or are about to expire but haven't had any changes with regard to medicals?

2) Does the bg check involve security issues or are the documents we submitted verified at this stage or was that done at the beginning during eligibility check?

1. Really hope that doesn't happen.
2. No one knows what they do in bg check as a lot of ppl have found that their security has been cleared by contacting csis. I am sure that they dont verify docs at this stage as they must do them in eligibility check.

Called CIC today and I was told my application has been finalized, and the agent is just waiting for a confirmation to send instructions. Two friends of mine have been told so. One with January 7 AOR , and another with March 2. I am sure good things are happening to FSW Outlanders.
