I only started searching about the process time online last week. Thank you for the info about Gold email days. Pretty excited when I got the
email this morning.

AOR: March 28, 2016
PPR: Sep 27, 2016
CEC - Inland (Ottawa =P)

I left a month gap in my application, so i needed to submit additional document in early May. I think this is the reason slows down the process time. I have friends got theirs in 3 months when they don't need to submit additional docs. Wish everyone get yours asap

Congrats, additional docs guaranteed delays even beyond 6 months processing time. Wish CIC work proactive asking for additional docs sooner than end of 5th month.

Is it ok to call directly to CIC to check my process as I have applied through an agent?

Are there any possibility to delay the process or any problem can be occured if I call them?

My husband has 3 PCC as he worked in overseas.
The last document CIC requested was Schedule 1 (TRV) at the begining of August.

Got our passports!!! I'm thankful to Canada Post, I wasn't expecting the package until tomorrow.

Started with ITA on January 27 and got our passports with COPR on September 27, its been real, this journey of 9 months

Timeline update for benefit of forum followers

Application status Approved: September 20
Xpresspost Activation Date: September 26

That's true I am thinking what is the best way to know the reason of delays. I would like to call the cic office but as what I have read here that calling them is useless. Actually, i do not want to sit and wait becauae i also know some of the member here still waiting for many months already hoping for a positive results.

Certainly believe you should call. There is no harm. I called CIC/IRCC more than a couple of times. Sometimes I got a good person on the other end of the line who gave me some information, other times I got the generic response.

AFAIK there is no harm in calling them, it doesn't get recorded. I ordered 7 GCMS notes in a span of 6 months and none of them had records of my calls.
