One question. Has anybody that is a PNP Outland ever considered getting in touch with the Province to share the experience with the delay? I do understand that they are not accountable for it, and might be in the dark just like us... but just maybe...

i finally called CIC today given I passed my 6 month mark a few days ago (AOR: March 23, 2016). The lady told me I had passed my eligibility and that my file had been transferred to Ottawa a few weeks ago and they were still working on it. I assume this was around the time when my BG check changed to "In Progress" on August 18, 2016. She said I just have to wait; wouldn't specify or give me a time frame. At least now I know my application is not being processed by the London, UK office.

Quite possible. If you had a Canadian address in your express entry application, your file is being processed in Ottawa - that is what the lady told me. I was under the impression it was London, UK for me since PR applications for Pakistani nationals are processed there; unless you have a Canadian address according to the CIC lady I spoke to. Wondering if I should order CGMS notes too; seems pointless at this stage since she has said I have passed eligibility - probably running background and security checks now; think I should give i another few weeks,

At least you are able to get some new information about your application, hopefully you'll get ppr soon. If I may ask did you apply from within Canada or outside?

I'm trying to think whether our countries of origin has anything to do with the delay in processing our files. So I can see 3 Pakistanis and me the Turk. I'm talking about FSW applicants of course. Could that have anuthing to do with where we're from? Or is it just that CEC applicants are processed faster?
