Usual turn around time for passports from CPCO is about 2 weeks.

You can follow others PPR to COPR timelines here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/passports-to-cpc-ottawa-september-2016-t449483.120.html

These days everyone (Inland) is getting PPR by 6 months, plus or minus 10 days. Doesn't matter when you got the RPRF request.

One exception is PNP applications.

It might get quicker in future.

Hey guys!

I know it has been over 3 days now, but because I am on vacation I couldn't post this before.

I received my PPR on September 14th!!

Looking forward to return to my place and make all the arrangements. Unfortunatelly, it will only be possible by the end of the month.

Cheers! ;D

Can anyone post the link to the post PPR thread

Yeah! i plan to since I've completed 180 days on 12th itself.

Still, I thought lemme wait for a week or two and then proceed further.

From what I've heard they provide standard responses to CSEs and therefore i'm wondering would GCMS be more help than CSE :(.

I am afraid the response to CSE would be very generic. I got my second set of GCMS notes last week, unfortunately didn't give me any additional information. Do you know the helpline number I can call (I am outside Canada)?

Me too, i'm based outta Chennai at present.

Here is one number i've come across: 1-613-944 4000. I believe this is the one we need to contact when you are not in Canada.

Can I ask you how you managed to get GCMS notes, as I read you need to present a canadian mailing address?

Thanks buddy.

You can request GCMS notes through visafile.info, will cost you 25 CAD. After making the payment, sign the consent form and email it to them. Usually it takes exactly 30 days for them to email it to you. No address in Canada required for this.
