I received my PPR email today at 11:37 AM IST from NDVO.

My timeline as below:
SINP Application Sent: 18Dec2015

Medical Passed: 03Apr2016

My Background check went into progress today and I have received the message regarding passport submission.
I have started the process start of the year 2015 and I'm very delighted to attain this stage.
I strongly hope that everyone will get PPR soon who are desperately waiting for it.

A quick question...did your BG check ever went into progress before today or was it the first time that this happened which eventually led to PPR.

Hello,

I applied under CEC Inland category and got my AOR on March 17th. I am still waiting for my PPR.

My timeline is as follows:

Application filed : March 17 2016
AOR : March 17 2016
Medicals passed: March 31 2016
BG Not required at this time : April 28 2016
BG In progress : August 05 2016

I called IRCC today as the 6 month timeline is completed. They said the file is still under processing and final decision has not been made and told me I can contact them again in February 2017 if no decision has been made by that time. I specifically asked if I could get my PPR before next February and he did not give any reply for that.

Based on earlier posts in the forum, it looks like they're giving everyone the same reply. Let's hope it doesn't go that far, especially in a program designed to finish processing of applications within 6 months!

Thank you! My BG status has never changed in the past. It has changed only today and at the same time I saw the message for passport request in MyCIC account. However, in my RPRF request letter, there was a line mentioning that "admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing".

We have the same timeline and applied on same category. Also same response received when i called the ircc yesterday.

They don't anyone to call. And if you call they make sure you understand it is useless. So best thing is: patience!

Need some advice, I could not reach call-center (I should wait for 20 and more minutes to be connected) I sent SCE recenty and get a reply that they will contact me only if they need more information, I did not get any info concerning the status of my application, so how counld I know what is happening with my PR. I've already crossed 6 months period, the waiting is unbearble, I need to make a decision related to my job. Maybe there is another phone number (I tried this 16139444000)

I had to wait for 11 minutes before an agent answered my call. But, I was lucky to have a nice lady who gave me the status of my application. So I suggest you wait for someone (nice) to answer the call and give you a satisfactory reply. As far as raising a cse is concerned regarding the status of the application, you'll only recive a generic response and unfortunately that's the only number that can be used if you're calling from outside of Canada.
I understand the wait is painful, but that's about all we can do. I hope you get a ppr soon. All the best.

This week was very quiet. I too feel the same.

Just spoke to a cic agent. He said that all the checks have been completed (including security) and the file is ready for one final review. He said that there's nothing to worry about and I should hear something soon. He asked me to call after 12 Feb 2017 (this is when they can take a physical action on file). So this February seems to be some sort of hard cut off date. Hoping to get a ppr next week

When are your medicals valid until?
as far as I know if a decision is not made on the file, they generally tend to give the due date as per medicals validity.
and a final review & decision shouldn't take more than 10-15 mins if the case is not too complicated.
Hopefully you should get PPR next week.

Quick question to those inland applicants who received their PPR'S. Did you guys receive an email notification that you have a new message on your MyCIC account or the ready for visa email comes separately and not listed on MyCIC account?
