Two PPRs reported today for Outland candidates

AoR: 17th March 2016
VO: New Delhi
PNP: Ontario
PPR: 16th September 2016

Sigh....I hope it gives some impetus to other OINP applicantions waiting for PPR too!!

Well PNPs are being processed. Its the FSW that's not being processed by NDVO

Pls take along Passport(s) your and other co-applicants. Photos as per the specification mentioned.
Print(s) of the PPR intimation one for one passport each.
They have individual envelope for one passport. And charges are Rs.580 per passport.
Only prime applicant can be present at the time of submission of passport.
Whilst collecting your stamped passports, if PA only goes to collect then he must carry original VFS reciept, id proof & xerox copy of same for all applicants, also authorization letter of other applicants who are not present.

Simple 10-15 min process.

Soooo.. it's over. I just got the PPR mail. just need to send the passport. My Case Processing Centre is in Ottawa. MyCIC account is still not updated, but thats no problem now.

My timeline:
AOR: 21.03.2016 (OINP, New Delhi)
BGIP: 23.03.2016
Background Check Not Needed at This point in time: 01.04.2016
GCMS Notes: 14.08.2016 (A11.2 Met by case Analyst, r10 OK)
Email: 03.08.2016 regarding passport expiry of dependent
New Passport sent: 11.08.2016
Acknowledgement through CSE: 18.08.2016


My Background check went into progress at 09:00AM IST today and I receive message regarding passport submission along with photos specifications.


It is journey of a kind. OINP first and then express entry took almost 1 year not to include IELTS & WES Etc..

Good luck to everyone and time will come very very soon. It appears they process in queue.

I called CIC three times till now.
In the first call, I was told that BG checks aren't complete and should wait to hear back.
In the second call, a very nice lady told me there is just one thing they haven't looked at and once that's done it's time for final decision and that I should hear back until the end of September.
In the last one, I was told security checks of my husband and children were complete but mine isn't and that I can hear back anytime before February.
February? What's going on?
I am FSW outlander with AOR on March 4.

Any idea how long NDVO is taking to put the visa and send CoPR for people who received PPR?
I received PPR on 6-Sep-2016 and submitted the PP for me & my wife on 7-Sep-2016 at VFS Bombay.
Still no response. The app status has not changed to "Closed" on CIC yet, and VFS says that the PP is still at NDVO.

Better reports from any of you?

I vaguely remember from some other thread that some PNP NDVO applicant had got her PP back in 4 days or something.

Your app status will change once your passport has been stamped and returned.
NDVO returning the passport in 4 days is a very rare case. Usually, it's around 10 working days. This is fresh info.....submitted my passport 2 days back.
