Thanks guys. Took your advice and called them. They said that I don't have to pay for my spouse and that I just have to give a letter of explanation.
Apparently that's a generic letter.

Let me ask you this; which contact method do they gave to you? the office Address? email? phone?
Where are you going to send the letter to?

Hi
Background check in progress on 24th August.
AOR 25th March
FSWO
Application at Ottawa.
5 months completed. Will they complete 6 months??

Probably yes. My BG went in progress on August 4th. My AOR is March 18th.

It is taking on average 30 days to get PPR after BG in progress for the second time.

Its been a month and half since BG in progress, no update at all tho. Very hard to predict the average.

Is there anything for people already here with work permits? Many of the items do not apply. Most of us will either as I understand have to do the flag-polling or go to a local CIC office via appointment to complete this step.

Does this look normal for a PR application after submission?

I guess I've received the AOR as well. (I say "guess", because I'm still not able to believe that it took only 1 minute after submission to get an AOR) :o :o

How many days do they take to review the eligibility ?

hello
Congrats to all who got ppr

I have 2 questions about status in gcms notes
1- birth registration not available,
I sent to them date of birth not found certificate, and also attached 10th class certificate and passport copy
to strengthen my date of birth proof.
2- for my spouse ECA says two bachelors degrees, but mistakenly I mentioned only 1 bachelors degree, they
write in notes that" there are 2 bachelors degrees, but applicant mentioned only 1"

What u guys think, should I send explanation by CSE or not
Thanks in advance for ur time and help

When was your AOR? Are you close to your 6 month threshold?

Hoping to have some positive encouragement on when to expect PPR from CIC?

Application/profile status: Open (March 03rd 2016)
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: In Progress (Since July 25th 2016)
Final decision: Not Started

Thanks,

Hello
Thanks for reply
I am pnp Outland AOR 2nd March, yes I am very close to 6 months
Thanks
Gosafecan

There have already been PNP Outlanders with AORs later than yours who received PPR, I believe.

You definitely can raise a CSE to explain the situation. Better to write a short message and clarify things than to wait and get unwanted results from CIC. What do you think?

After all we've all worked hard amd it doesn't hurt to work a little bit more, don't you think?

All the best.

I have a question for everyone!!

Do you think CIC will stick to the 6 month rule? How often to they not abide by that rule? I mean I have AOR on March 4 and I wonder how likely it is that I will receive the golden mail next week.
