Can anyone tell me the steps of flagpolling.

Is it must to have a US visa for flagpolling at CBSA?

Nope, you don't require US visa.
At the border tell them that you want to flagpole.
Then you will be given a letter and redirected to Canada border.
Then flagpole there. Done.

A quick question guys - Do we need to update cic (regarding foreign travel for tourism purposes) if one does so between AOR to PPR? My guess is, no. Am I right?

Hi everyone,

I applied under CEC Inland with LMIA category on March 31. My first application was rejected due to PPC not been uploaded within a month. Below is my timeline

AOR - March 31
Medical passed - April 14
Bg check in progress - April 14
Bg check not needed - May 4
ghost email - August 11 and 12
RPRF request & paid- August 18

Since August 18 Bg is in Progress.

How long after missing the deadline was your application rejected?

I think you are right. There was nothing in the AOR to suggest you need to update them in case you are traveling while waiting.

Thanks,

I am in Canada right now. I have work permit valid till next year but dont have Canadian work visa, also I dont have US visitor visa.

Now after getting CoPR if I go to Canada-US border for flagpoling but If I denied entry or landing in Canada for whatever reason, so then what will happen?

I wont be able to enter US and Canada. Is it possible? It might be a weird question but was just wondering abt it yesterday night.

Guys,

A quick question. They have requested me to fill out IMM 0008 and Additional Family Information forms.
I am having trouble, filling out IMM 0008. I am the principal applicant and my spouse is the dependant. In the dependant section, do I need to add his family as well, ie. his parents and siblings, as dependants?
Please do let me know.

Thanks much.

In 8 days it will 6 months since AOR (March 1st). BG check "in progress" since mid August. Keeping fingers crossed to hear the "good news" very soon! :D

A dependent means spouse or children. Parents and siblings' information should be added in the "additional family information" section.
