Do you really have to do that? Isn't that a given? With all due respect, it is ridicolous to think when a PNP nomination expires, an ongoing federal application will be affected. Nomination expiration date should be irrelevant as long as there is an ITA received and an application filed within the effective period of a nomination certificate. Correct me if I am wrong.

while you and Aragorn165 are correct & the understanding of the PN is frozen once the PR application is in process, is well understood by all, this is a sort of contingency action for worst case scenario, where, if due to any reason, the application is rejected then you are left from both the ends. and only way out is to re-do the entire process of PNP filing. Which is universally known might take frustrating long time.

Appreciate your extensive work out! A further dig out to know the processing time of different VISA Offices will shed further light. I am more concerned about the NDVO processing time as it is running at a snail speed, I suppose!

I tried to calculate for New Delhi also but unfortunately not much data is available (My Visa office is NDVO too). 97 is a good sample size for deriving a trend. For New Delhi only 10-15 cases are available. Average time was around 115 to 120 days.

I was asked to submit RCMP clearance on April 15, which I submitted on May 4. But I haven't received any update since then, not even the confirmation if the letter is the correct one that they asked for. Is this the normal process. ?

Do you think the processing time would differ according to the VO for PNP-Outland applicants ?

Yes it varies big time. For Example London Visa office works super fast (60-70 days), Abu Dhabi at snail's pace (sometimes over 200 days).
