while you and Aragorn165 are correct & the understanding of the PN is frozen once the PR application is in process, is well understood by all, this is a sort of contingency action for worst case scenario, where, if due to any reason, the application is rejected then you are left from both the ends. and only way out is to re-do the entire process of PNP filing. Nomination expiration date should be irrelevant as long as there is an ITA received and an application filed within the effective period of a nomination certificate. Correct me if I am wrong.
