Hello all,

My AOR was received by the CIC on the 14 March and my medical was accepted straight after (couple of days).

My BG Check is currently Review in Progress

Application is through FSW, but how do i know if i am a Inlander or outlander?

How is everyone else getting on?

guys I have a question.

My AOR is March 10.

I wonder if we can change a job before PPR or not.
If I resign from the current job, do I need to inform CIC?

Also, is it too early to order notes of status now?

Anyone knows? Thanks.

My understanding is that you can quit your job (since you were eligible at the time of application, i.e. accumulated enough points to apply) but you do need to inform CIC about this (through Case Specific Enquiry).

Did you receive 2 emails from CIC at the beginning, you might of noticed an update but i didnt. So nothing has changed since my medical was accepted.

Hi
Inlander are those who have applied and currently in Canada in contrast to Outlander whose VO are within their respective country of residency.

I agree. In addition, the OP may be subject to employment verification call from CIC so without informing them about the changes on employment may put him into trouble.

Out of curiosity, has your background check ever changed after going to Not started from not needed at this time? Trying to figure out the progress for PNP candidates like us whose AOR is in march. thx

kk cool, seems like whatever progress you are at right now, I'm 10 days behind it. Have you ordered GCMS notes trying to figure out what they are doing to your case?

Well in fact I already did. I requested GCMS notes last week so I can track every single detail on my file at the earliest to avoid any hassle and refusal.

Got my GCMS notes. I requested on 4/8/2016 and received on 4/22/2016 (2 weeks!). Its 170 pages.

However, I do not see anything valuable there. Seems this report is as of 3/30/2016 or earlier. It says my medicals are still in progress whereas in reality my medicals were set to passed on 4/13. They sent me a letter for additional medical test on 3/22 and there is no mention of that in the notes.

They requested FBI PCC on 4/18 and there is no mention of that in notes....

Its kind of useless at this time...may be I need to request one every 15 days :)
