Yes you receive an email when there is an update. Some people including myself have received ghost email about an update when there isn't any update when you login to check. So personally I feel when CIC can send email without update they can update and not send an email. So as safeguard I plan to check status every weekend for my applicationsqid.madoma said:Will i receive an email each time something new will happen in our account ?

Don't understand why inland applications progress slowly. If anything they should be faster since many have education, work etc from Canada which would be easier to verify when compared to an applicant who is outside Canada.Honeyaustin said:i am fsw inland, my application would be slowest to be processed, no changes yet only case open since 1 week
Because they are processed by the Ottawa office, which has to process ALL CEC (which get priority), FAM, and supervisa applications. Outland applications are processed by different VOs, which means their workload is less, and so they are processed faster.DevGurgaon said:Don't understand why inland applications progress slowly. If you answered yes to any question in the statutory questions section, you get Schedule A as a chance to explain the answer more.Ramii said:Hello all,
I have a question, why do they ask for schedule A, and is that for everyone?
I got my AOR on Mar.1st. No update yet, too.Honeyaustin said:i am fsw inland, my application would be slowest to be processed, no changes yet only case open since 1 week
