How would know if you got access to ECAS? Will I receive an message saying that my ECAS has been activated?
I received an email today saying that my application has been updated by when I opened my CIC account, I found nothing has changed.
I tried accessing ECAS and now I am able to open it. Got these two lines after I opened the 'In Progress' hyperlink.

hi everyone! just this morning, my sister got a request to upload PCC (RCMP). no other documents were requested though (english test, schedule a, etc.)
and ECAS is still the same (3 lines).

Hello guys. I received an email today saying that your Ontario Opportunities application (for OOPNP) has been withdrawn as CIC has indicated to them that I have applied directly (in EE). They also mention that the fee is not refundable. :-\ After submitting my OOPNP in June 2015, till date I did not receive any information about my OOPNP file. And today they say that my file has been withdrawn.
My current EE status is:
1. Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
2. A background check is needed - In Progress
Do I / Can I do something about it? Is there something to worry?

Nothing to worry about. Happened to me. They probably wanted to nominate you but found that you accepted an ITA via CIC. Therefore, a PNP is irrelevant. That's all.

I'm looking some people timelines on different threads; after ecas went to "in process " got ppr within 5 days, I hope this is a good sign though.
