AOR in July, 2015...Guys lets get togeather!!

I too seem to have received the PPR email today.

The email is from "CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC) <IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>"
subject line reads "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa"
and bears the official header of "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada"

And it requires me to submit the passport and two photographs within next 30 days to
CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON
K1G 4B9

My CIC account still doesn't show any update (still shows "in progress" status) and ECAS remains down/inaccessible.
So I am still a bit confused - is this a genuine email?

BTW, I am FSW inland (solo application) candidate, application submitted on Jul 16th and AOR received on July 16th, and this is my first and only application.

BTW, the passport request email came to my official email address linked to CIC, and correctly mentions my UCI, application number and postal address.
However, the origin (from) email address kind of throws me off.
Plus there is no status update on My-CIC and ECAS remains inaccessible.
That's why I am confused.

I know how you're feeling. To good to be true. I advised him the same that send your passport. I have already checked that email and its domain. It is legit. So don't worry go ahead and send your passport.

I had very high hopes from the last draw but unfortunately the score came down only by 1 and now with Christmas and new year falling on a Friday. I anticipate next draw on Jan 08. Score might go up after 3 week gap. But my hopes are still high after the news that there will be increase in number of ITAs from next draw. I hope I get in before my PGWP expires
