I don't understand why it is taking too long to process PNP applications. I am almost at the end of my 6 months period.I though there was some issue with my application but looks like many PNP are still in the waiting queue

Hi sera,I though there was some issue with my application but looks like many PNP are still in the waiting queue
Hi ad007,I don't understand why it is taking too long to process PNP applications. I am almost at the end of my 6 months period.
Hi maplecity,My file was transferred to the London Office on June 2. I had reached out to cpc about a week ago and I just received an email from ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca saying my application is awaiting review. Sigh. 5 weeks left till it's 6 months... hoping and praying

Hi,Hi ad007,
Please update your signature with your timeline. Could you also tell if your are PNP Outlander and what is the date of your application submission?
Have you ordered gcms to knw why hvnt ur bg check status changed till now?Hi,
I am PNP Inlander..
AOR: 9 Jan, also updated my signature with details
Hi Ritawallu, yes less than 5 weeks I guess. 6 months is up on July 14. It's a bit confusing to be honest. I don't know if there is a difference between PNPO and FSWO. Bottom line is, I was assessed under the FSW criteria and I got a provincial nomination from Ontario so I am Ontario Nominee.Hi maplecity,
Having your AOR on 14 Jan and 14 July marking the 6th month, it seems its less than 5 weeks time. I wish you get your PPR soon. Are you a PNP applicant as you mentioned above FSW Outland?
Haha sweet,Hi Ritawallu, yes less than 5 weeks I guess. 6 months is up on July 14. It's a bit confusing to be honest. I don't know if there is a difference between PNPO and FSWO. Haha sweet,
You are PNP Outland as your received nomination from a province and we use Outland if you are not residing in Canada but from some other country than Canada. So that is PNP Outland. I am wondering why it takes too long for PNP applicants as already the employment verification and documents has been verified by the nominee officer and only thing left on CIC part is the medicals and criminal history if any. For the same I ordered GCMS to knw my case. As even I have crossed more than 5 months timeline and still have not received my PPR. But the system sucks as I have not even received my GCMS after more than 30 days. Now that is called bad luck. Lol. I wish that you receive your PPR within this week. I think CIC has more work to do with the burden on the same immigration officers. As the thing to notice here is there not single draw in the month of June.
No, I have not ordered them yet. But I called CIC on June 16 and agent mentioned that my eligibility was passed on June 13 and security has not started yet. So, I think security is what is taking time..Have you ordered gcms to knw why hvnt ur bg check status changed till now?
Ooops security does take some time. I hope you receive the PPR soon. A previous day back I was going through a forum where there were some PNP Inland applicants who got stuck at security check, which caused the delay of applications. Its not that it was only PNP Inlander but also some FSWO and PNPO but mostly the Inlanders. But I guess the time to receive PPR to be between 6-8 months after going through that forum. So just wait for some more time, maybe you'll receive your PPR in the first week of July. It also effects if a candidate has a long travel history or so. Lets see, how it goes. No, I have not ordered them yet. But I called CIC on June 16 and agent mentioned that my eligibility was passed on June 13 and security has not started yet. Not to make anyone loses hope but I have seen ppl waiting up to 14 months after AOR because of security check!! From what I see if you don't get your ppr in a couple weeks after IP2 you're in for the long run. I'm FSW inland hitting my 6 month next week. Sitting on IP2 for 3 months nowOoops security does take some time. I hope you receive the PPR soon.
