And friends the last question on my mind as of now is my FD column reads" Ur application is in progress and we will send u a message when a decision is taken" and With BG being NA. So is there a possibility that i may get a PPR without BG changing?
Any inputs on all ur FD statuses will be appreciated.
Any info on the FINAL DECISION pattern???Anyone??

Asking the question again in a different context

Wife's due in September and will be travelling to India for delivery

1) If we get coPR can i land here immediately before the baby is born? If so will it be a problem in bringing my wife and baby?
2) What if i land after the kid is born? (I mean i delay my landing 2 months even though i am still in Canada)
3) Can the landing be extended for my wife after the kid is born?

Please help !!!!

Hi Seniors,

Need your help, if any of you in my situation. I would like to know, how this was documented in the personal history section?

I am providing the information about my membership with ISACA (USA) and ISC 2 (USA) in the personal history section. My membership will continue till 2019. I have paid the membership fees till 2019. It started in 2009.

I stay in India and have appeared for the exams in New Delhi. I got the membership from these USA based organisations while I was physically present in New Delhi (means remotely). Means, i never traveled to USA for the membership. While providing the information in the personal history section, CIC asks for "Country where activity took place", "State" and "City/Town where activity took place".

Now, if I provide the information that activity took place in USA, does CIC will not ask for the police clearance or something similar?

Also, do we need to provide schedule A if we provide this information?

Thank you!

1. I am assuming you are the principal applicant so you would definitely need to land before or at the same time as your dependents. However, your unborn child was never included as a dependent. Therefore, once born and you have his/her birth certificate, passport, etc. , you need to inform IRCC. Even if it is a newborn, they still need to be vetted by IRCC. You cannot just put them on a plane and have them enter Canada just because you and your wife have PR. Your child does not.

2. You could land after your child is born. It depends on what is the cut-off date to make your first landing (generally, one year from your medical exams). You won't know what that date is for certain until you receive your COPR.

3. That would be up to IRCC to decide. Naturally, I believe that is something they should allow since you cannot leave a newborn behind but it will be up to them to decide.

Also, an important note that your Proof of Funds will need to be updated to show that you have sufficient funds to cover the additional family member.

Disclaimer: The information above is based on my knowledge and understanding of IRCC procedures and policies. I would recommend reaching out to a competent immigration lawyer who would be able to better guide you.
