Hi guys, my original application was declined a few weeks back due to work experience issues, you guys gave some great advice as to what to do after being declined and I ended up re-entering the express entry pool using correct work experience and have met the CRS score on 1st attempt :) Just waiting for the invite now as the points were just update about 90min ago.

Question, all my documents are in order, I have taken a new medical that my doctor said is clear, I'll be using all the same documents from the initial application as they are all less than 4 months old (PCC is only 3 and half months old). I have attached an additional letter to my work experience form stating going over the initial application's refusal and how I have gone about correcting my previous error and apologizing for it.

Will my application be processed any faster given that all the checks would've been conducted already or will it still run the full course?

Thanks guys, you've been awesome.

Congrats on qualifying for a new ITA. I doubt if your application will be processed faster, as it is an independent application. However, you can include an LOE with your application letting the officers know you have been previously vetted (they will see it in their system anyway). Good luck.

I do not think so. My application was also rejected and even if I did put the UCI that I got from the rejection letter, when I submitted my new eAPR, the application has started at the very beginning. Even my medical , that was passed in my previous eAPR is not passed yet. I think they look at it as a new application.

OK.. I submitted my new application only yesterday. I may be wrong and that they haven't had a look at it yet. I am sure that they will still keep record of the older application for comparison to find out if there are big discrepancies.

Let's hope you are right.

Hi There,

How did you notice the change? DO you keep loging in to the MyCIC account or you got a message that your status has changed in MYCIC?

Perhaps you could get the PPR e-mail without IP(2)

don't think so :( it wouldn't have gone to NA if that were the case

Yes around 8-9 days back. They confirmed Security/Criminality in progress, eligibility is not yet started. And then I realised my file haven't been touched and have to wait

It no problem to get ticket to Toronto from anywhere. You are supposed to land in Ontario and avoid Montreal as a middle stop.
Hello
Can you please explain why he should avoid Montreal as a middle stop ?
