For PNP files, CIC needs clearance and confirmation from PNP offices, that probably reason PNP files gets delayedcscscs said:I am CEC PNP Inland and AOR on 20th January 2017.
Following is my status:

Background: We are processing your background. Same day as medical passed. And it's been like this since March 24th.

Well when I called them they said the background check is in progress and eligibility check is not started yet.chandra415 said:For PNP files, CIC needs clearance and confirmation from PNP offices, that probably reason PNP files gets delayed
Maybe you are right, but when CIC can process CEC applications within 90-100 days, why cant they process PNPs within 130-140 days?chandra415 said:For PNP files, CIC needs clearance and confirmation from PNP offices, that probably reason PNP files gets delayed
Hey man. I'm also FSW from USA. My BG came to IP2 a week ago, no change or news since that.aasif87 said:Hey guys,
FSW O applicant here from USA. My background just changed to IP2. Fingers crossed!
AOR Jan 2nd
Meds Passed March 11th
IP1 March 11th
NA April 4th
It also doesn't make sense that they required a confirmation from the Province. They are the one who added 600 points. We didn't claim the 600 points. It was automatically added.mjadawala said:Maybe you are right, but when CIC can process CEC applications within 90-100 days, why cant they process PNPs within 130-140 days?
I am very happy to see CECs getting their PPRs so quickly but at the same time a little disappointed to see PNPs from Nov. 2016 waiting for their PPRs.
Guess, everything's not fair in life lol
I login to my CIC account everyday to keep track of any changes.cscscs said:Hi There,
How did you notice the change? DO you keep loging in to the MyCIC account or you got a message that your status has changed in MYCIC?
You are right. I think processing the applications based on people in Canada and outside Canada makes more sense than differntiating between applicants already in Canada.mjadawala said:Maybe you are right, but when CIC can process CEC applications within 90-100 days, why cant they process PNPs within 130-140 days?

Oh that's been quite some time. Have you checked your spam folder for any emails? A lot of people have reported their PPR emails went to the spam/promotions folder. Hopefully you'll get some great news soon. Good luck.conroex3800 said:Hey man. I'm also FSW from USA. My BG came to IP2 a week ago, no change or news since that.
Also, if it is yahoo mail, they are not receiving PPR in any folders. I saw in forum, one of the applicant called CIC just to check the status and he was shocked when he was told by agent that CIC is waiting for the information from applicant. Later he requested to resend the email, tried twice and still he dint received it. So later CIC sent a message in his My CIC account, and when he saw the message it was a PPR message.aasif87 said:Oh that's been quite some time. Have you checked your spam folder for any emails?
