Just got an email :

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your application is being processed in Case Processing Centre: Sydney, Nova Scotia.

I thought in Sydney is the CIO and not the CPC or I am wrong ?? Is it also possible the the car processing is Sydney too?? I'm CEC Inland . that means my file already transferred and R10 and A112 are done and passed.

Thanks

where did you send this email to?? I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa, and it came back asking to raise Case specific query and confirming my file is not with CPC-Ottawa

Hello,

CEC inland working in PGWP.
I have received my COPR
The instructions say, I need to validate my COPR by going to IRCC office or enter Canada from another country.

My main concern is about working in Canada.
My PGWP is about to expire in June.
Do I need to update my temporary SIN to PR SIN before my WP expires or I don't need a WP anymore?
Do I need to apply for PR card right away?
How long do I have before completing these formalities?

Thanks!

No concerns. Validate your COPR and then you can go to any service Canada office to get new updated SIN. You do not need work permit anymore after that (they will tear your WP once they validate your COPR anyway) and can legally work without any problems. You only have to wait 4-6 weeks to get your PR card which will allow you to freely travel outside Canada again.

You have to report your new SIN to your HR compensation team and CRA as well. I would suggest to get your taxes done for 2016 before you validate COPR just to save the hassle of waiting for SIN to get updated before you can file your taxes.

Everyday, I open the CIC account!! Hoping! >:(

'Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.'

Hang in there mates....!!

Hi ,

Has anyone got a request for IMM5645E form?

I just received a request for it today morning but I am confused as the ADR asks IMM5645E - additional family information form but this form is generally only used for temporary visas and IMM5406 form is asked for PR applicants ..

Any help here would be appreciated.

AOR - Jan 1 , 2017
Meds passed - Jan 7, 2017
Additional document request - IMM5645E form on March 29, 2017

IMM5645E - is for family information form (this form is to be submitted by only the principle applicant.)
IMM5406 - is for additional family information form. (This form is to be submitted by the principal applicant and the spouse separately)

IRCC is asking your for family information, not additional family information. So you can use IMM5645SE and declare your family. IRCC will ask for this from is they want to ensure that your immediate family is present in Canada or not or check their credentials.

Congrat to new PPRs.
