yes, mine is also being processed at Sydney, NS

Thanks Swill. May I know, your current BG status. Because our medical status changes done pretty similar days. I don't see anyone whose BG changes updated recently despite of fact that their medical status passed on Feb 19, 20 and 21. This explains our applications in CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia and may be Security checking is dragging the delay. :)

Does anybody know why they change the pattern of application status?

Mine has been at Nova Scotia in BG IP Since Feb 20. Now I am worried if I do have some criminal record In Toronto :o

I believe, their objective is to make it more clear to everyone in terms of status of their respective component. Since most of us are used to the old status, a lot of confusions/questions arose with the change. After few days, once again we might be more comfortable with the new status. As long as we are receiving PPR mail from CIC, these status won't impact anything. Most of us including myself are so excited and eagerly waiting for golden mail (PPR), these questions/clarifications can be understood.

Cheers :)

my BG changed from Not Started to Not Needed on March 4th and today I checked again and found that it says "Not Applicable". It never showed "in progress". I submitted RCMP upfront.

I would say the objective is to have there nice sounding wording.
Sure this - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. - sounds better than this - Not started

Now it makes you happy, just until the moment when you order your GCMS notes and suddenly you will see that your application was not touched for several months.

;)

That sounds like a long wait for PPR , almost 20 odd days :(

Not when you look at the big picture... PPR is supposed to take 6 months, he's only been waiting for 2 ;)

@lifein360 - think about ordering GCMS notes so that you can know what is holding up your application... I know with CEC it USUALLY means PPR is next after BC changes to IP... But it can still change back to NN and then to IP again before PPR... Without knowing of your eligibility is OK and f security is finished it's hard to predict anything ;)

Haha, and to your next post, I think I will wait, it is still too early - 45 days or so. April is what I am keeping in mind
