Hi Guys,

My application status is below

FSW - OINP
16th Dec - ITA
7th Jan E-AOR
25th Jan - BG went to Not started from not needed
13th Feb - Medicals passed
13th Feb - BG went back to not needed from not started
since 13th feb no change in status

Can any one shed some light on whats happening with my file and would my file have moved to a VO by now, there was some talk about clearing some R.10 or R.12

Can any one just explain

Thanks ..

Well, have a look at this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-eapr-submitted-in-november-2016-t459415.0.html;msg5619049#msg5619049

you can see there:

6. A background check is needed : This varies from VO to VO, I am mentioning general trends in statuses
Not needed at this time to Not started to again Not needed at this time to In progress -- This tend is generally for NDVO.
Not needed at this time to In progress : CEC applicants will generally have this status change.
Not started to In progress : Some CEC applicants and other VOs generally have this status change.
Not started to Not needed at this time to In progress : Some people have not started as their initial status and sometimes it will follow like this
Not needed at this time to Not started to Not needed at this time to In progress to Not needed at this time to In progress : Sometimes or generally NDVO follows this trend. Some applicants have noticed this kind of change of statuses. Not need to worry they got their PR after second time it changed to In progress.
In progress to passed : This will happen if you have passed the background check.
7. Final decision : Not started to Decision made -- this will happen after your BG changes to passed.

Most of the FSW-O and PNP-O have got it passed.
A few CECs have recently got it changed in the last week or so.

Thanks. I see most CEC with Jan 1-10 AOR still don't get med passed. Hope it comes soon.

Please excuse my ignorance, just wondering why your review of medicals changed to "review in progress" and not "passed". Do you have a medical condition? Cheers

It may be because of my wife`s medical furtherance. Anyways the reports are expected in a week or so. Hopefully, the status will move soon.

Thank you thestunner316. What about address history? If I moved several times after AOR, do update address history except changing my contact address?

no, just inform CIC about your latest contact address, incase they have to send you a physical document... otherwise it doesnt really matter.

It is well explained but it is tough to fully understand. I am CEC inland. My BG status changed from NN to NS on Feb 17 then there is no change after.
I thing lot of things depend on individual CIC officer as well.

Too many things are happening for January Applicants... Good to see couple of guys got PPR and many of them under BG check IN PROGRESS... I am also one the applicants but don't know exact status of my application... Hope to get PPR soon

Cheers

Thanks. Did your wife get medical furtherance before your medical status changed to "in process" and when did it change?

Thank you! How long do you think it will be for PPR from this point? (BG IP(1))

My BG has been IP for over 2 weeks. ???

IP does not always mean that PPR is close. Sometimes they verify something. Especially when first IP is rather fast after AOR (within a month) a request of additional documents or they have some internal request (for example a request towards the province that has nominated you).

It really depends from LVO to LVO. But at very least you know that your application is checked.

BG IP for CEC seems to take 2 weeks now if all is A-OK

if you look at the immigration tracker for Jan, Jan applicants seem to get PPR after only 1-4 days of BG being in progress. There's only a sample size of 3 in the tracker, but I'm in groups on FB for PR and they have similar timelines

No update to report from my end.

Things seem to be slow from London visa office.

Any update from anyone else?
