Remember the days just two years ago when PR applications took 2 years ;D. What would we do then lol

The threads would probably be like a thousand pages :D

Hi Guys, I recieved the AOR on jan 9th and nothing is updated on my profile. Is this situation normal ? As alot of people in this thread who have submitted their file after 9th have recieved one or two updates.

What do you guys suggest ?
I think you need to remember that each application is unique. You should not judge your progress using some other folks report, your application is unique. I think we all need to exercise some patience and stay positive. All will be well

Does anyone know how long RCMP criminal check takes to come in mail ?

Right! That makes at least two who think that AOR January should enjoy PPR rain soon ;D

On our tracker, it shows there is already 1 PPR issued, I don't know if that's a mistake or maybe Applicant who had re-applied or something, that was insanely quick, maybe Andy knows.

Usually BG for CEC applicants goes back to NN, and then again to IP second time i.e. IP(2) on trackers, before getting PPR.
BUT
some lucky CECs got their PPR, after just first BG change, but rarely.

Let's see what good is coming our way.

I sent an email to CIC regarding my LVO and they sent following. Based on my current residence it should be New Delhi.

- I was in Canada for 5 years but now in India
- I have Canada born son
- Ontario PNP

Please note that your application will be processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

Our office confirms that your application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

eAPR AOR : 27th Jan
Medicals : PASSED (17th Feb)
BG - IN PROGRESS (17th Feb)

This one is 100% legit - reported in watsapp group.

There is another one inland guy who got it - but we have just "friend source" and no other info.

CIC didn't ask me RCMP yet. However, to be on safer side, I have submitted RCMP along with PCC to avoid delay in the future. I got RCMP report in one week period.

CEC inland (german citizen) + 1 dependant (us citizen)
AOR: Jan 12
Medical passed: Feb 18
BC1 NN --> IP: Feb 18
BC1 IP --> NN: Feb 21
BC2 NN --> IP: Feb 23

Wow...!!! congrats.

Not only your BG went back to NN, but also to IP(2), usually this is a sign that you passed R10, A11.2, and now waiting on PPR.
I think you are leading the way for CECs.

Good luck to you and all the best.

They usually say 2 weeks but most people have received the report within a week.
