Just remembered I did not pay RPRF at the time of application just because of some tight financial reasons and I am now regretting it :(.

Anyway, it is hopefully only a matter of a week or two additional delay. I wish I could pay now.

Folks any thoughts on this? Any way to remedy

I don't think there is anything you can do at this point unfortunately. You just have to wait for CIC to request payment.

I emailed Ottawa asking if I could make payment, and my visa office replied saying I should wait until they request me to make payment.

I have read instances where applicants go ahead and make payment, and attach receipt via cse or send directly to their LVO.

So you can choose to wait or go ahead and make payment.

So I heard back in regards to my GCMS notes, I'm not sure what to make out of the email I got:

Any suggestions and/or thoughts?

For all you CEC/Inlands that are constantly moaning about no status change... Have a look at this:

This guys got PPR in LESS that 3 weeks after an initial status change... :P

So stop complaining that your status hasn't changed and focus on the possibility of very quick PPR when it does eventually change. ;)

I am certain I chose Permanent Residence and not Express Entry Profile at that question... weird

Yeah, I'll wait then to follow the correct procedures

@nmuntz thanks buddy

complaining about not paying RPRF is very first world problem I realize so I will stop - compared to issues others face on the board ??? :-X

I know...I'm a little bit envious to be honest. Although I shouldn't complain! My timeline is fine so far. Just seeing how hast it could be but waiting myself sucks.

There is a huge group of January AOR CEC folk who got BG IP on Feb 20. Lets hope we all move quickly and in sync *praymoji*

Do you perhaps need a PCC from a country that requires a specific letter from CIC/IRCC to be issued? Other than that I've no idea what it could be! Please enlighten us when you do get it.

It was the OINP nomination certificate.
phew! relief.
The sender was MCIIT (not CIC).
moving on... ;D

Lol, I said earlier, it is not even March yet and they have given invites to 17000 people. At the same time last year they gave invites to 7500 people. More than double increase
