What the heck is going on with CIC? CEC applicants with e-AOR from Jan 1 - Jan 10 were totally missed with Medical exam passes >:( >:( It seems like they just picked up the stack of applications from Jan 11 and are currently working upwards.

I mean I happy for everyone who is getting some movement, but can't help it to be super frustrated....

Yes, it is true. Why do they jump over the Jan 1-10? Really frustrated.

I'm guessing the officer assigned to this group (Jan 1-10) will need to pick up the slack (maybe he/she is still dealing with backlog). I might be wrong (its just my hypothesis).

Either way, we need to patiently wait and it will surely get to you guys.

It may depend on the case officers, the applications on these dates went to those who had capacity at the time (not fully loaded with applications). However, now they are all fully stacked but did not reach those particular applications. IMHO

phase 0 (before ITA)
not needed at this time

phase 1 (after AOR, this is when the application is under process)
a) not needed at this time -> not started -> not needed at this time OR
b) not needed at this time -> in progress -> not needed at this time

phase 2 (PPR, decision made)
not needed at this time -> in progress

phase 3
complete
---

Btw, I have seen phase 1 (a) happen more to inland/US applicants, and some applications can jump from phase 0 -> phase 2.

Worth noting that this is the usual process. Phase 2 can actually flicker from IP to NN several times depending on VO and can take from 2 weeks to several months to complete.

What seems obvious is they move forward by wave and by category, when you look at the dates of validation of medical visits we see well that the PNP O have their visit posted on the same date (at 2-3 days by session), and Ditto for the CEC.
There must be times assigned to each category.

I am CEC Inland and got medical pass on 21 Feb, but I did not get any BC change. Now it is still NN. Not sure what does this mean.
It might have changed frm NN to NS and back to NN...maybe you didnt notice......we are same date and mine has gone thru the process and presently on NN

Based on my observations, my time line has been quite quick and it less than 1 month since AOR:

FSW Outland
ITA: Jan 11
AOR: Jan 26
Medical Passed: Feb 16
BG NN->NS: Feb 19 am
BG NS->IP: Feb 19 pm

It's been like that since then. Any thoughts?

wow! yeah, that's very quick!! you may be an early January recipient of PPR :)
in less than a month you have already moved to IP.
many of us with earlier AORs are still waiting for the BG to change to IP.

Is it important BG turns IP before PPR?

i DONT THINK SO O

I am PNP-Ontario

AOR=16th Jan
Meds Pass/BG-IP= 3rd Feb
BGIP to BG NN= 12th Feb

No further updates.

Please note that BG can move to IP again during the process. So there is no definite rule that someone whose BG changed from IP to NN will receive PPR a bit quicker than others.
