I read on the November thread that the CIC told this guy that PNP-O dont get processed less than 6months :'(
Not sure what sense does that make? First the excruciating OINP wait now this >:(

No that's not right... tyzia is a PNP-O from November (AOR 25th Nov) and got her PPR 26th Jan. - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-eapr-submitted-in-november-2016-t459415.0.html;msg5745363#msg5745363

The problem is that lot's of ANXIOUS people don't know how to read or chose not to read on the IRCC website that EE takes 6 months... So they'll ring up IRCC to ask about their application and why is it that they haven't got their PPR since they've been waiting for 3 months without a status change, blah, blah, blah... so the call takers probably get fed up with this and just say - You're are XYZ, hmmm, well in your case it will be AT LEAST 6 months...

I mean, if you look at the CSE form it specifically says:

You may use this form if:
  • You have submitted an application or profile.
  • Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times.

But some people think THEY'RE special and that they're will get PPR within 3 months and get nervous and anxious when it's not the case...

I may differ with you in this case.

When you take tyzia case, you should notice that in the set of 15 people in the Nov thread, who got PPR within 3 months, tyzia is the only PNP applicant and rest are either FSW or CEC. People are anxious because this was not the trend before. PNP applicants were generally getting PPR faster than FSW or CEC applicants in 2015(and if you read old threads, basically for the year 2015 or early 2016, FSW and CEC applicants are complaining about the delay in getting their PPR).

I understand that no one is special when they apply for PR. But because of the delay in getting nominations by OINP, and PNP applicants getting no advantage over FSW/CEC applicants after the delay, is making some applicants anxious (and this is normal as a human being).

My meds still haven't passed (AOR Jan 10th) ??? hopefully there is nothing to worry about...

I have not provided my parents information in the application. Will it cause any problem. How do i nform ircc about this.Dman worried about my application

I had the same problem. I had to file a CSE to provide this information. You can do this here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp
I would advise you to do it. It is better to avoid any risks of being refused.

I know, PNP cases are taking longer this year (apparently they were quicker last year), but still to say that (all) PNP-O don't/won't get processed in less that 6 months is nonsense as we have a clear example (albeit just one for now) that this is not the case. And I'm sure we'll have more soon enough..

Honestly, there is probably a perfectly good explanation for all this, we just can't see it. :P

This takes me back to the OINP days where we used to discuss CEC vs FSW priority, NOC priority... hehehe... I'm thinking something like there are CEC, FSW and PNP officers at IRCC and with the increase in the number of ITAs they have hired more CEC and FSW (so these are getting processed quicker as there is more throughput) but PNP has remained the same... Since OINP released all it's NoMs at the end of last year this flooded the PNP channel and we now have a backlog of PNP cases... How is that for logic?

What was the specific information that you had to provide
is it the name and age only

I provided: Relationship to me, Last Name(s), First Name(s), Gender, Date of birth, Country of birth, Country of residence and City of residence.
This is the information that they request in the original PR Application.
I also provided them a Schedule A document (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5669E.pdf) since it includes this same information, just in case.

it is critical to provide, honest and comprehensive information (as per questions asked), not disclosing certain bits may cause severe issues :)

I sent the same information, but I have not attached the Schedule, to be continued...
