I have mentioned clearly that after BG status becomes NA, eligibility assessment will take place and the agents will transfer the files to Local Visa Officer after they done with their eligibility assessment ONLY.
Changing the status are purely depends on the agents who are working on our files. Some might be more specific in changing the status and some might not. They may change the status only once in the entire process. I have seen many cases where the applicant received their PPR without even single change in the BG check.
I'm trying to share my experience over here and it is all up to other end, how they receive it. One thing is sure that, I'm not just simply replying to thread without proper analysis of the process.
