I was just looking through the trackers for Dec and Jan, I realized there has been very few updates for Inland applicants especially CEC. I think Ottawa is swamped and with the number of ITAs issued this month, it is really scary how long this process might take for us :'(.

Yeah CEC inlands take quite longer.

You are supposed to get an email, but there seems to be a 24 hour delay. The change occurs first, and 24 hours later you get the email.

You should get an email but you might not get an email therefore, better to keep checking at least once a week.......

Just logged in to find my application status as "updated":

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started

Not sure what to make of it. Guess only the review of submitted docs changed from blank to No additional documents needed at this time and BG check from Not Needed to Not Started. Can someone please interpret it for me.

I need an urgent response concerning Police Report. I like in UK from 2010 to 2012 before leaving for my home country. I then visited in 2013 and stayed for a month. I have never been to the country ever since. I did police report for UK in April 2015 and just received an ITA today January 25th 2017...Do I need a new UK police report? or the one I have is ok since I have not visited since 2013 and the report was done in 2015. Thanks

Ideally ... If you stick word by word of what IRCC says ... You should be good with even a dated report since you have never visited the country after your last exit and the PCC has been taken after your exit, so it should be valid.

However, since you've just received your ITA and have 3 months to file your docs, personally I would go for a fresh one and maybe mail the concerned UK authorities the old PCC for speedy processing and reference. But then that's just me ... Seniors please confirm

At least I've reduced the frequency to 3 times a day. Although I know deep inside that I probably won't see any updates at all for the next couple of weeks.

Better than me at least... As embarrassing as this sounds but the tab is opened so every 20 minutes i find myself pausing my series and refreshing the page hahah
