You're in the correct thread, but we have all streams here (PNP, CEC and FSW). Welcome!nez18 said:Hi,
I am looking for the right thread. Is there a separate thread for the timeline of CEC Inland applications? I received ITA on Dec. 16, 2016 and submitted my e-APR on January 13, 2017. Thanks!
Difficult to answer as no one knows... What thy do know is that it kind of depends on the officer reviewing your file.viralharia said:In the Background check - what's the difference between not needed at this time
And
Not started
Does it indicate anything? In my profile it went from not needed at this time to not started.
More or less, see my previous post for more infojianxia15 said:I read somewhere that it means they have started or completed ur R10 and A12 check. Seniors pls help here. Thanks. Ur medical passed one day before me, and hope that mine BG would change to NS soon!
strangely by BG changed to not started but by medical still haven't passed :-\g126 said:Difficult to answer as no one knows... What thy do know is that it kind of depends on the officer reviewing your file.
What most people can agree on is that the first thing done is the R10 check, following that the medicals along with the A11.2.
It seems that as soon as the R10 checks are complete the Document status changes do no documents are needed a this time (from Blank) and you medicals change to IP or PASSED and then they change your BC to NS or IP and start the A11.2.
Not that depending on the officer your BC (background check) status can change several times during the above procedure.
All the above is done at the CIO in Ottawa and once that's done then you file will probably get redistributed to somewhere else (who ever is free at the time or has less backlog). This usually tends to be you local VO (Visa Office). Then you go through the admissibility checks (criminal, misrepresentation, security, etc.). at this stage your BC may cycle though several times (apparently this is common in the New Delhi VO) or it may just stay at NS/IP throughout the whole thing.
The bottom line is, it's impossible to tell from the status shown in the myCIC page where your application is, the only way to know for sure is:
- Get GCMS notes
- Do not pay RFPR fees upfront: as soon as you get requested to pay is because your app has gone all the initial checks (R10, medical and A11.2) at the CIO and passed, note that some say this will delay your application by at least 1 week (and up tp 1 month)
Passport has all the ID info they need. It even has your birth city so why ask for birth certificate. I the passed they may have asked, but now is kind of useless...nmuntz said:I was thinking last night isn't it odd that IRCC didn't ask for birth certificates? OINP did request them, but IRCC doesn't require them.
Any ideas why?
Don't worry about it... Like I said it depends on whoever is reviewing your file. It could be that they just haven't got around to linking it with the medical IME number... If your doctor said it was OK and your results were all negative then there is nothing to worry about.aditik15 said:strangely by BG changed to not started but by medical still haven't passed :-\
Hi there. I guess that you are just starting to gather information. In that case check the main threads about Express Entry and about provincial nominations.shakil_au6625231 said:Hi

I would suggest to do the homework fist - read what stream you can go via, calculate your CRS, see if you will not go via PNP.shakil_au6625231 said:Hi
