Hello all !!

I am providing my timeline update for informing purposes:
On Feb 16, 2017 I've got my medicals status as "passed"
MyImmi Tracker is updated accordingly, other details are in the signature field below.

I wish everyone good luck and speedy processing of your applications! ::)

My background check changed to In Progress from not needed

Application Date : 1 January
Meds passed 5 February
Background change not needed 9 February

PNP Outland

I am surprised for this change.

no because my spouse live in UAE for more than 25 years and thought it was not required because the application doesn't specify that. But actually they wanted pcc since he was 18 years !!

If your application got cancelled, do you need to go to the pool again to get a new invitation?

hello everyone

Just a brief explanation of my case

I got my first AOR on 27th December and my medicals was passed on 11th jan but on 15 they cancelled my application for being incomplete (india pcc missing )

now I submit my application again on 30 Jan AOr still waiting for medical to pass. Just want to know if any body in this group are in a similar situation as mine.

Also please add me to the whats app group if there is any my number is +971561154481

Do you mean the application page did not require Indian PCC but CIC rejected your application because you did not upload?

Hi everyone. Now I am getting a little worried because the docs I uploaded were flawed.

1. I had a coop experience in Canada, which is not counted for CEC. But I still reported this work experience and uploaded letter of employment. However, in this letter, NOC code and job duty were not indicated.

2. I started a new job after the invitation and before summiting my application. This job has nothing to do with CEC eligibility and I am not receiving sponsorship from this job. In this case, CIC required letter of employment and employment records. I submitted the same file. Not sure if it is good enough?

Yes I went back to the pool and got new ita on 20th Jan then got pnp transferred to my app. Did all the procedure once again.

Hi all

I need a little help. I came to India in April 2016 after my work permit expired. I received an invitation to apply in December 2016 and received my AOR on January 9, 2017. I was selected under CEC category and I am presently residing in India.

My medical status changed to passed on February 16, 2017 and background check is in progress.

1. Does someone know how much more time it will take to process my application or to receive the passport request. I am seeing some people got it in two months from the date of AOR. Although my category is CEC but I am in India right now and also large number of invitations are been given at this time.

2. My review of eligibility is still in progress. Does someone know how much more time it takes to confirm the eligibility or is it the last step.

Wanted to know as to who does the background check of the employers . Does the visa office do it ?

They can do it (and I guess that is something that LVO is a bit more suited).

Yes exactly... if they decide to call your employer to check then the LVO will most probably call and speak to them in the local language (provided your reference letter was written in the local language).

There is Family day on Monday in Canada, so there will be no updates there. Soonest on Tuesday again.

Family day is not a holiday for federal employees.

I have checked my LVO and they say, that they are closed on Monday:

Statutory Holidays

Our offices are closed on the following days:

Monday, February 20 Family Day

And yes they are federal employees.

Then again Paris is opened, so I guess it is embassy specific.
