Medical not passed yet. Should I be worried?

PNP Inland

Hi all,

CEC peeps hang in there, there is hope, My meds passed today, so excited and happy.
I was getting discouraged seeing most PNPs and FSWs getting so much movements and we didn't even get the basics. Well Kaaabbooooom, today was the lucky day.

Only other change, was no additional docs required.

Something is better than nothing, let's hope for some more movements in the coming days.

Good luck all.

Hi all

I need a little help. I came to India in April 2016 after my work permit expired. I received an invitation to apply in December 2016 and received my AOR on January 9, 2017. I was selected under CEC category and I am presently residing in India.

My medical status changed to passed on February 16, 2017 and background check is in progress.

1. Does someone know how much more time it will take to process my application or to receive the passport request. I am seeing some people got it in two months from the date of AOR. Although my category is CEC but I am in India right now and also large number of invitations are been given at this time.

2. My review of eligibility is still in progress. Does someone know how much more time it takes to confirm the eligibility or is it the last step.

I have one further question. Can my application be cancelled for missing information when my medical has passed and it says no additional documents are required. At present it says background check in progress.

Hi all!
FSW Outland Application
Upfront Medical: 18th Jan 2017
AOR: 27th Jan 2017

1) Until now there has been no movement and it doesn't even show if my medical has passed. Should I be concerned and should I speak to someone at the hospital(Max specialty Delhi) where I did my test to know if they have uploaded my test results.

2) Also, there is a blank field in front of 'Review of submitted documents'.

Received UCI number and VO details yesterday via email after i requested them. Apparently, my file is still at Ottawa VO. Timelines in signature.

"Your application will be processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

Please note the following UCI numbers:

Did you not attach Indian PCC initially ?

no because my spouse live in UAE for more than 25 years and thought it was not required because the application doesn't specify that. But actually they wanted pcc since he was 18 years !!

Hi kb15, as far as I know, the review of eligibility will stay "Review in Progress" till the very end.
