Most probably it is because your wife medicals is expiring in 3 months. But you can always call and find out if they have any info.

I am inland Ontario pnp nd my wife is inland too... Applied on 14 th Feb...

Sure I will give them a call...
Thank you for information
It happened to me too.
It changed to "you do not need medicals " on the day it expired.
It later changed to Medicals passed again.
So just wait until you are told to redo medicals.
You might not have to (especially if you are Inland)

Hopefully not..
It just gonna reduce some savings...

Completly :(:(:(
Moreover, given that over 50% from Jan eAPR are still waiting it is not a comforting sign for Feb applicants. I suppose CIC should have a field other than crappy statuses which should say next application update not expected before xx date so that we do not have to login every day to check if any update is there.

You could try sending an email to CPC Ottawa. If your file is at their office then the email would act like a nudge to them. It might act as a reminder for them that your file needs to be processed.
It's just an idea, not sure if it will work, but worth giving it a shot.

I think my GCMS notes request did that, I saw a couple quick changes to my status just after submitting the request.

Is this 70-80% FSW target stated somewhere, can you provide the link?
Just check this:
https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/january-2017-aor-permanent-residency-tracker
Out of 388 active cases there are 176 PPRs i.e. Lower than 50%. For FSWO this conversion is 40%. Hence, first Jan applicants will be getting PPR and then we will hit 70-80% for Feb ones. For Feb eAPRs (FSWO) if we see 40% conversion by mid of next month it will be a positive as overall volumes are going up every month.

Oh yes ... Big congratulations to all PPRs of the day. Are you guys partying already or holding it till the day passport is stamped :)
