It's hard to say - a CV request is somewhat unusual, so they're probably looking into some aspect of your work history. If everything is on the up and up, I'd expect the BG Check to go to IP2 first, followed by the PPR after it goes back to NA.

But all this is just speculation. The good news is that you know they're working on your file, so just send in the docs and wait.

Your timeline is perfectly fine. You are at Not Started. Your timeline would not have In progress twice. It will most prob like NA - NS - NA - IP - PPR

Hi guys, my visa office has changed from Sydney to Ottawa. Not sure exactly when but I just knew it today.

So it's been almost 2 months since I passed medicals. I sent couple emails back in March to the Ottawa office asking my application status and it was always in the Sydney office. However, I followed up another email last night and they replied me this morning saying it's currently being processed at the Ottawa office.

My account, however, is not showing any changes or updates. The background check has been always "in progress" since medical pass.
Does this mean anything?
Is this a good sign?
What are the roles of both Sydney and Ottawa offices?

Stream:CEC inland
AOR: Feb 12th
Medical pass: March 8th

I've the exact similar timelines as your's (CEC Inland) and also the file initial visa office was in Sydney.
My BG(IP1) changed to NA yesterday and found out that file moved to Ottawa.
Possibly your BG suppose to be NA but agent might forgot to update it.

I have translated my German PCC through ATIO certified translator. I have submitted below documents for PCC

1) Original Germany PCC with color scan.
2) Declaration from translator with Golden Seal of translator.
3) English translation copy with Golden Seal of translator.
4) Photocopy of german PCC in black and white with Golden Seal of translator

Will it be any issue due to point 4 ?

It's xerox of original document and on top of it translator has put his Golden seal, which I scanned later...

Do you see problem ? as I have kept 1st page of color scan of PCC

last page I received from translator is black and white with his Golden seal
