my guess agents must be filtering application that they have by status and then decide "oh I have so many waiting for BG in my inbox let me clear those" etc .. just speculating here.

They are doing batch processing ....batch med pass....batch eligiblity ....bactch PPR etc

Does anyone know why back ground checks are not applicable for so long? I would have thought that they should all be next step is to conduct a back ground check? I'm just worried mines be not applicable for so long and what that means

Additional Documents Requested on 23 rd March and Medicals Passed on 24th March

But My Background status Changed as , We are Processing your Background Check .

How long will take for the Next Status Change any Idea ? Please advise .

I didn't track it everyday so I really don't know if I went through your step " processing your bg check". Seems yours is even faster :-\

My due date is April 6, so will order another set of notes maybe a week after this.

Based on this one can probably assume that you remain in NA status until Security is started/completed.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Although I feel your pain, many of us have waited just as long and sometimes even longer, regardless of stream. I for one am an OINP nominee, my process began in 2015. I believe each application demands different processing times, for various reasons. I'm tired of reading comments such as "oh, another feb PPR, not fair", and the person is actually a jan 31st applicant... What about those who have been waiting since june 2016? Should we all freeze our processes then, untill those guys have their PR? It doesn't work like that. In fact, none of us really knows how it all works. We should just try to be there for one another, as this waiting game has been hard enough on all of us, instead of competing for who should get it faster. I'm sorry if I used your post for venting, it's nothing personal.

Buddy I think you misunderstood my comment. Someone complained why CEC is the fastest stream and I replied to his/her question. I am not saying CEC applicants should get their PPR faster than others. If I hear someone who applied on April 3rd got his/her PPR, I will be very happy. What makes me unhappy is to see someone's application has been rejected/refused.

Have someone who is a citizen or PR apply on your behalf. Otherwise you can use one of the websites that offer the service.

Average time for FSW Inlands to pass meds is 50-60 days+. You're still in the normal time frame.

When was your AOR?

I got my medical passed on Friday 31st at night. I am 10 Feb
