I am sorry but How is it possible to have any sense of timeline based on these emails!Anyone get a sense of my timeline?
!
Some applicants got PPR request from Ottawa (so to answer your question - no), however, now, I don't know if NDVO were involved in checking and verification processing for those. Is NDVO responsible for all the applications from India ??
Congrats; did they ask you about proof of funds?ITA: January 4th.

PPR: june 26
Passport sent: june 27
Passport recieved back: July 27
Landed: july28.
I did my landing at Blue water bridge Sarnia although i was like hour away from falls for 2 reasons.
1. They only allow landing between Tuesday to Thursday and i was going on Friday.
2. From others experience as i read on different forums, niagra and around areas are packed with tourist and immigrant trying to land. As a result they have been keep sending them back as they get packed before 8 in the morning. Sarnia was bit a drive for me but definitely worth it. I was done in less than 10min in immigration office. So the new adventure begins as a permanent resident. Good luck to everyone waiting for ppr. Its on its way guys. Patience always get paid off. And for landing recommendation, i suggest you to pick somewhere not close to falls.
CongratsPPR!!!

I am sorry but I think this is not the right thing to do! If you want to live in NY why did you apply at the first place? I don't get this; I have been living in Canada for almost 6 years now and still no PPR and you may get yours anytime and want to live in NY!So is it about a month from PPR to being able to land and accept PR?
Also, 2 questions more:
1) wondering if anyone knows how long you can push off landing and still accept PR. if you get the ability to land on (i.e. Sept 1st) can you wait to move to Canada until 6 months later, a year from your medical exam, a year from PPR? Anyone know the timelines?
2) once you accept PR what are the requirements to maintain PR. we live in NY and are thinking about me accepting PR then returning to NY for about 2 more years (taking frequent trips to Canada to see my wife's family) then moving completely to Canada after the 2-3 year period. Anyone know how this would affect PR?
My wifes employer needs her to stay a little longer but just informed her. We plan to move but need to wait longer. It's a complicated situation just asking if anyone has facts about those timelines I asked about not trying to anger anyone or get opinions on it.I am sorry but I think this is not the right thing to do!
