I also thought they would be interested for past 10 years but with the details given under Education section they might have developed interest as to what I was doing from 2001-02?
I didn't mention anything specific about 2001-02.

Should I attach Schedule A form along with all my Education related files and upload under tab 'Education' in myCIC?

That's okay. But the education section doesnt say "dont leave any gaps". so the gaps are allowed there

Hi all,
Super excited. AOR Feb 15, yesterday morning i saw that my status changed:
Medicals: You do not need >> passed
BG: Not started >> not applicable (stayed here for a few hours) >> in progress, next step is to do a BG check

This morning i received a ghost message. How far am i in the process? what is the next status message I should be looking for?

Thanks all.

This is the Not Started stage. The next changes that usually occur are IP(1)->NA->IP(2)->PPR... the times vary quiet a lot

What happens when's when it comes from next step is to conduct a background check back to not applicable after a couple of days what does that mean? This happened to when medical passed then back to not applicable 2 days later any ideas what this means

Feb AOR: 10th
FSW inland. Just got a request to upload my spouse's RCMP record check and not for me.
It's interesting cos last year when I applied under CEC. It was only my wife's RCMP that was requested.
My only probable explanation for not being requested is maybe cos of my profession. Maybe they do an ongoing check on me

My background chnaged to N/A (8 apr)from in progress (28 feb)....
CEC inland ,AOR 3 feb

What it means??

Hello Friends,

Lately, I have a doubt. I have asked for Canada police clearance and I did my fingerprints at this place Edmonton police check 14315 118 Ave NW #108, Edmonton,

Is this right place or did I do something wrong? There was no clear information where I need to do it

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm == > Only this was provided on this request. I googled and found this spot :(

Thanks - Arun

Hello everyone,

I got a message from CIC that they need RCMP from me.

Stream: CEC Inland
Dependents included: My wife
AOR: Feb 1, 2017
RCMP Requested: April 7, 2017.

Can someone please help me out in determining,
1. Do i need to get RCMP for both me and my wife?
2. Where in Winnipeg, MB can i get it done?

Thanks

When you will open the submit documents tab, if upload document is in your section then you've to upload yours only. if there is another upload tab on your wife's section then only you have to submit her RCMP.

Please make me clear about this BG status : "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check."
Is it same as IP (1)? Or it will change to IP (1) after some time? Whats the difference?

Thanx mate...
Any idea when it will start or turn into IP (1) ?

please help me with below question IMM5669 (Schedule A) form:

Question 2

Indicate your name in your native language or script.

Doubt: Should I mention my name in Hindi (Mother tongue) or English?

It varies quite a lot, depending on complexity of application (travel history, numer of applicants, etc.) and also depending on stream. Many applicants are getting ppr without status ever changing to background in process. CIC does thing in their own secret way, it seems... :P
