Then mine is an unusual case, I guess, because it's been 8 days since my BGC went to "in progress". Le sigh

It is not unusual - it takes from a few days up to a few weeks sometimes. So don't worry, you should get your PPR in the next batch. Or maybe sooner

My timeline is exactly as yours. If everything okay, we ll get PPR on same day As per latest trend BG can remain in progress from 5-6 days to 30-40 days..

Hang in there my friend. You and I are in the same boat. My AOR is 10 days before you and my status after 2ng set of GCMS Notes is exactly the same as yours.

I am asking this because I just saw a post from someone saying I don't wanna see my PPR email in spam.. So by chance if someone gets an email in spam and by mistake missed that then is there any way that we could figure out from the account itself?

The email is one of the donotreply emails telling you there's a message in your CIC account. So if you miss the email you'll still see the message waiting for you in your CIC account.

I have checked my status five minutes ago and my BG has changed to In progress. Do you know when we might have more news after this big step?

A background check is needed: In progress July 13Th
